The study will cover all 27 EU Member States plus Norway and Iceland as well as Canada and the USA.

This forum will bring to life two important and pivotal issues in eHealth today: - eHealth Priorities and Implementation Strategies - The Benefits of eHealth eHealth solutions have great potential to improve access, quality, and efficiency of healthcare. How can we work together to maximize their full potential? This workshop will focus on our state of play on eHealth in B.C., and draw on the European experience to shed key insights and good practices for consideration. This meeting will provide excellent value to senior leaders and decision makers, leaders, and experts in health and eHealth implementation in B.C.

Successful SOPRANO EU Project Kick-off meeting - next generation technology for elderly care

Tue, 12 Jun 2007 12:14:25 GMT. SOPRANO is an Integrated Project (IP) which started in early 2007 where empirica is one of the partners. The project was officially launched at Tunstall's world headquarters in Whitley Bridge, Yorkshire on the 1st February 2007, and was attended by 40 delegates from the UK and European partner organisations. The SOPRANO project resulted from a successful proposal submission to the European Commission’s IST Programme which is part of the Framework Programme 6. It includes partners from three SEN@ER regions cooperating in the development of independent living services.

SAVE@Work4Homes – A new European project led by empirica on supporting European Housing Tenants in Optimising Resource Consumption

“Pilot on eHealth Indicators” study awarded to empirica by the European Commission

In this study for the European Commission DG INFSO and Media a survey of almost 6,000 primary care physicians on their use of ICT and internet for communication with patients and between primary and secondary care and other health agencies will be carried out in all 27 Member States of the European Union and in Norway and Iceland. The fieldwork will start in the third quarter of 2007.

Hospital survey presentation at WoHIT

At the World of Health IT conference in Geneva, 10 - 13 October 2006, empirica consultant Stefan Lilischkis presented findings from the e-Business W@tch 2006 hospital survey. One of the most interesting results is that hospitals, in comparison with other economic sectors, are relatively strong in online procurement but they are relatively weak in patient-facing information technology solutions.
